I'm Katy Leese, I'm 31 years old and working full time as a freelance makeup artist, based in Workington Cumbria, UK. Available for home studio or mobile bookings.
I have appreciated makeup artistry from a really young age which prompted me to study Makeup Artistry and Special Makeup Effects at university. After studying for three years I gained a first class honours degree, and began my career in the television and film industry. After some fantastic opportunities and experiences I was quick to realise that I am a total home bird and wanted to work a lot closer to home. I then decided to focus all my attention on the bridal and occasion industry, where I have truly found my niche for natural timeless makeup.
I am honestly blessed to say that I truly love my job and can't imagine doing anything else!
